01 Who we are
Alpha Omega Media LLC (“Alpha Omega Media,” “AOM,” “we,” “us”) is a digital transformation and custom software firm based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We serve government agencies, financial institutions, and consulting firms in Puerto Rico, the United States, and Latin America.
For the purposes of this policy, Alpha Omega Media LLC is the controller of the personal information described below — meaning we determine why and how it is processed.
02 Scope
This policy covers the website at www.aompr.com and its subdomains (the “Site”). It is a marketing and credibility site: it presents our services and case studies and offers a contact form. It does not host user accounts, client portals, payment processing, or any application in which client project data is stored.
Information you provide to us in the course of an actual engagement — under a master services agreement, statement of work, non-disclosure agreement, or government contract — is governed by that agreement, not by this policy. See Section 13.
03 What we collect
3.1 Information you give us
The Site has one point of data entry: the contact form. When you submit it, we receive the following.
| Field | Required | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | Yes | To address you correctly in our reply |
| Email address | Yes | To respond to your inquiry |
| Organization | No | To understand the context of your inquiry |
| Message | Yes | To understand and respond to your request |
The submission is delivered to us as an email message to info@aompr.com. The Site does not write your submission to a database and does not add you to a mailing list. Whatever you choose to type into the message field is transmitted to us as written — please see the notice in Section 8.2 regarding confidential and sensitive information.
3.2 Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the Site and the providers that support it receive certain technical information when you visit:
- IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen dimensions
- Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, referring URL, and links or buttons clicked
- Approximate location inferred from IP address, at the level of country, region, or city — never precise GPS location
- Date and time of your visit, and standard web server logs generated by our hosting provider
3.3 Anti-abuse verification
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection challenge. To determine whether a submission comes from a person or an automated script, Turnstile evaluates signals from your browser and network, including your IP address. It is used only to protect the form from abuse.
3.4 What we do not collect
- We do not collect payment card or financial account information through the Site
- We do not collect government identification numbers through the Site
- We do not request or intentionally collect special categories of data — health, biometric, genetic, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, or sexual orientation
- We do not build advertising profiles, run retargeting pixels, or operate advertising cookies on the Site
04 How we use it
We use the information described above only for the following purposes:
- To respond to you. Answering your inquiry, providing requested information about our services, and following up on a proposal, RFP, or engagement discussion.
- To operate the Site. Serving pages, maintaining availability, and diagnosing technical problems.
- To protect the Site. Detecting and blocking spam, automated abuse, and attempts to compromise the contact form or the server.
- To improve the Site. Understanding, in aggregate, which sections hold attention and where visitors leave, so we can improve structure and content.
- To meet legal obligations. Complying with applicable law, responding to lawful requests, and establishing or defending legal claims.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not profile visitors for advertising purposes.
05 Legal bases for processing
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to your visit, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for optional analytics, and for your voluntary submission of the contact form.
- Legitimate interests — for operating and securing the Site, preventing abuse, and understanding aggregate usage. We have assessed that these interests do not override your rights and freedoms.
- Steps prior to entering a contract — for responding to inquiries about a potential engagement.
- Legal obligation — where retention or disclosure is required by applicable law.
06 Service providers
We do not maintain the Site entirely on our own infrastructure. The following third parties process data on our behalf or in connection with your visit. Each is bound by its own terms and privacy commitments, and we share only what the function requires.
| Provider | Function | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| PostHog | Product analytics (United States region) | Usage events, device and browser data, IP address |
| Cloudflare | Turnstile bot verification on the contact form | IP address, browser and network signals |
| Google Fonts | Serving the typefaces used on the Site | IP address and browser data, at the moment fonts load |
| Email & hosting providers | Delivering contact-form messages and serving the Site | Form contents, server logs, IP address |
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so — in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or government request — or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of our clients or the public. If Alpha Omega Media LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction; we will post notice on the Site before it becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
07 Cookies and analytics
The Site uses PostHog to understand how visitors use our pages. PostHog sets cookies or uses equivalent browser storage to recognize a returning browser across pages and visits.
PostHog creates a visitor profile for every browser that visits the Site, associated with an anonymous identifier rather than your name or email address. If you submit the contact form, that profile is linked to the name and email address you provide, connecting your prior activity on the Site (pages viewed, buttons clicked) to your identity from that point on.
7.1 Your choices
- Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies through your browser preferences. The Site remains fully functional without them.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable law requires it. There is no consistent industry standard for Do Not Track headers, so we do not respond to them separately.
- Browser extensions. Standard tracker-blocking extensions prevent analytics collection on this Site and we do not attempt to circumvent them.
08 We do not sell your information
8.1 No sale or sharing for advertising
Alpha Omega Media does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under United States state privacy laws. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your contact details to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
8.2 The contact form is not a confidential channel
Please do not submit confidential, proprietary, privileged, or regulated information through the contact form. It is ordinary email in transit and is not covered by any non-disclosure agreement. If your inquiry involves sensitive procurement details, protected records, or material subject to a confidentiality obligation, contact us first and we will establish an appropriate secure channel and execute an NDA before you send anything.
09 How long we keep it
- Contact inquiries. Retained in our business email for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the business relationship, and thereafter as required for legal, tax, or audit purposes. Where an inquiry does not lead to an engagement, we generally retain it for no longer than twenty-four months.
- Analytics data. Retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention period and used only in aggregate.
- Server logs. Retained on a short rolling basis by our hosting provider for security and diagnostic purposes.
You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time — see Section 12.
10 Security
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to a marketing website and to the sensitivity of the information involved. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), server-side validation of all form input, output escaping to prevent injection, bot verification on the contact form, credentials held in environment configuration rather than in source code, and access to the receiving mailbox restricted to authorized personnel.
No method of transmission over the Internet or of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and any transmission is at your own risk. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
11 International transfers
Alpha Omega Media LLC operates from Puerto Rico, an unincorporated territory of the United States, and our service providers process data primarily in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your jurisdiction.
Where required for transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request information about these safeguards using the contact details in Section 17.
12 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — to know whether we hold information about you, and to receive a copy of it
- Correction — to have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected
- Deletion — to have your information erased, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Restriction and objection — to limit or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests
- Portability — to receive your information in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdrawal of consent — to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
- Non-discrimination — to exercise these rights without receiving different service or pricing from us
- Opt out of sale or sharing — which requires no action here, since we do neither
12.1 How to exercise them
Write to info@aompr.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will acknowledge your request and respond within the time required by applicable law — generally within thirty days, or forty-five days under California law, with extension where permitted. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and will do so using the information already in our possession. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
12.2 Complaints
If you believe we have handled your information improperly, we would like the chance to resolve it directly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, or, in Puerto Rico, with the Puerto Rico Department of Justice.
13 Client and engagement data
In the course of client engagements, Alpha Omega Media may process data on behalf of government agencies, financial institutions, and other clients. In that context we act as a processor (or service provider) rather than a controller: the client determines the purposes and means of processing, and our obligations are set by the applicable master services agreement, data processing agreement, statement of work, or government contract — together with any sector-specific requirements those engagements carry.
This Privacy Policy does not govern that processing. If you are an individual whose data was processed by us on behalf of one of our clients, please direct your request to that organization, which is the controller of your data. We will support them in responding.
14 Children's privacy
The Site is directed at businesses and government organizations, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@aompr.com and we will delete it.
15 Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites, including those of clients, partners, and certification bodies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. This policy applies only to the Site; we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit from here.
16 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, the technology behind the Site, or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will post a prominent notice on the Site before they take effect. Your continued use of the Site after an update indicates that you accept the revised policy.
